Sinovuyo Mkula, a young South African art student from the University of the Western Cape and a fifth-year Chinese Medicine student, recently won first prize in the highly competitive "My Dream" Painting Competition for African Youth. Recently Sinovuyo also came third in the 22nd University Chinese Bridge Competition. Sinovuyo's winning artwork, "Harmony", is a testament to the power of youthful vision in the art world.
As a competition aimed at harnessing the creative energies of Africa's Youth and giving them a platform to express their dreams through their artwork, "My Dream" found an apt winner in Sinovuyo.
