Conversational Chinese for Beginners on Tuesdays
(1 Semester)
This course is designed to help you learn Chinese in an easy, relaxing and effective manner, using real-life scenarios such as how to greet friends, introduce yourself, share phone numbers, discuss hobbies and jobs, and engage in simple bargaining while shopping in China. The focus is on teaching very basic Chinese conversational sentences, aiming for rudimentary daily communication.
Each session is independent of each other, so if you miss a class, you will still be able to follow along in the next class. All are welcome!

Taichi Fan Performance
(1 Semester)
Are you looking for a holistic approach to enhance your well-being and an amazing performance? Join us for Taichi Fan, an ancient Chinese martial art that seamlessly combines physical activity with Fan. This gentle and flowing exercise is suitable for all fitness levels and ages. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced practitioner, our classes are designed to accommodate all levels.
Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Baduanjin
(1 Term)
We will learn some basic knowledge of Chinese medicine for the first 30 minutes. The following 15 minutes will be spent learning Baduanjin, a self-care wellness exercise for those who exert themselves in ways that might cause physical and spiritual problems, who work at computers or stand by machines all day long, who travel often and do not have time to eat regularly and who suffer from certain tensions that cause fatigue. Please remember to wear loose and comfortable clothes and shoes for this class.

Culture Course
(1 Semester)
This course offers a concise introduction to Chinese culture facilitated by most CI staff, including the Chinese zodiac, tea culture and TCM amongst other topics.
HSK 1
(1 Semester)
Completing the first level will provide you with a solid foundation for future studies and enable you to engage in basic conversations in Chinese.
HSK 2
(1 Semester)
If you have basic Chinese skills and wish to enhance them or if you have completed HSK 1, feel free to join us as we work together to improve our Chinese language skills.
HSK 3
(1 Year)
Did you finish HSK 2? Feel free to join us as we start to improve our Chinese language skills together! This course will need to continue until November, as it consists of 20 chapters.
HSK 4
(1 Year)
Additionally, we are offering the fourth level of the Chinese Proficiency Test, HSK 4. If you have completed HSK 3, feel free to join us as we collectively work towards enhancing our Chinese language skills!
